Hi, I’m Pattie and I share insider knowledge about visiting the UK for those wanting to staycation as well as those visiting from abroad.
I would like to help you with deciding where to visit and what there is to do there. There are so many hidden gems and wonderful spots off the beaten track. I want to help you discover the place in the UK that’s simply perfect for you. Along the way, I want to give you the best money-saving tips, as well as tips for those travelling with anxiety and how to make your trip more comfortable.
I am really good at thinking outside the box. I spent 5 years at art school, so creativity is my forte, and I love to put this to use when it comes to travel. Everyone knows that Big Ben is impressive and Buckingham Palace is a must-see. But I want you to find the trip that is perfect for YOU, and that takes a little creativity. No matter your interests or what you feel most comfortable with, I’m sure I can find something for you.
I was born and raised in the UK. Specifically, the West Midlands. I have been holidaying here for over 20 years and I have visited all four corners of the country – from Glasgow to Cardiff, from London to Sherwood Forest. I have insider knowledge and a great love of the variety of places, cultures and landscapes here. This, combined with my love of travel writing, mean I have everything I need to help you discover your love of the UK too.
