Sometimes big cities can feel really overwhelming, and we can feel the need to find the most peaceful places in the UK.
Sometimes we need to go somewhere quiet, peaceful, and with lots of space in order for us to breathe. Luckily, the UK has many wonderful places that fit the bill.
Taking active care of our anxiety can really have an impact on our happiness levels. So when we visit relaxing cities or quiet villages, these tranquil locations can really help us to manage our anxiety levels.

This national park feels a world away from big cities. With wide-open rural spaces, you can go for walks without seeing a single other person. While there are nearby villages to pop to, this is a wonderful place to go and get some space.
Being so far away from civilization means that the air is fresh and crisp. Breathing in this lovely clean air can do wonders for how we feel in both our minds and bodies.
